Don’t Just Book It- Thomas Cook it!
Sip a cup of coffee and tour Karnataka….
An unusual and slightly bemusing sales message – but none the less the simple approach which Thomas Cook and various local partners are making to sell the latest holiday concept of touring wild and far flung parts of the globe and taking in a few coffee plantations at the same time
Partner Bangalore International Airport has joined forces with the 165-year-old tour operator Thomas Cook, the Indian Coffee Board and Karnataka Tourism to offer the Kaapi Trail
This is described as a ‘Tourism Concept’ that is built around the love of coffee ’in four growing states situated to the south of Bangalore’
The trail takes in various coffee growing regionals including Chickmagalur , Baba Budangiri , the Nilgiriss, Araku Valley and the Papari Hills
On reflection this seems a great idea and to be honest which perhaps has legs into the tourist mainstream….Many of the world’s favourite original coffees are grown in stunning areas and on plantations which are ideally suited to the tourist community
Pack your bags Monkey ma boy…..as we head off in search of the ultimate coffee based sun downer!
