Waking up up to a great Coffee smell: Do you wake up and love the smell of fresh Espresso Coffee?

I Love coffee and the smell of coffee (coffee smell) – that’s perhaps one of the reasons that I have a company that sells espresso coffee. (Nespresso compatible capsules, Espresso coffee,ESE coffee pods and Senseo coffee pods) But in life you know there are very few smells that really get your mind, body and soul going – the smell of fresh coffee never ceases to amaze me -I smell it everyday, but just like home baking and freshly cooked bread; this smell is still amazing. It’s a smell that you never forget, and it always brings back memories of events in ones life. There are not many things that can do that. Perhaps photographs? But smell is an instantaneous thing – and it can transport you to a different time in the past and place in the world.

Some of my favourite smells (other than Coffee)

Like you, I am sure that coffee smell is important. It is a major factor in deciding whether you want to taste, drink or eat something – or just smell it (like a flower). My favourite smells are: Krispy Kreme donuts, Disneyland Main Street. Coffee, Espresso coffee, Hot toast, freshly baked bread or cakes, Fresia flowers and the interior of a new car!

Great Smelling Espresso coffee pods:

Even when I have a blocked nose, espresso coffee still gets through. and it’s not just the lovely aroma! It gets your brain going and in my case, my creative juices! I get up and am ready for action. So whats the best smell you have ever experienced? We want to hear what you like – and maybe if we find the right smell we will combine it with the smell of espresso coffee and see what happens!

Nespresso capsules with the aid of George Cluny have topped the charts with the single serving espresso coffee market. But now there is more than one player in the single service nespresso coffee capsule market to rival Nestle and Nespresso: DUALIT. You may know this well know company for producing toasters and kitchen gadgets for the cool cooks – used by Nigella Lawson, Jamie Oliver and <a class="zem_slink" title="Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall" href="http://en generic zithromax online.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Fearnley-Whittingstall” target=”_blank” rel=”wikipedia”>Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall to name a few celebrity cooks…Now Dualit wants to take some of the coffee share off nespresso.

English: Nespresso, what else ? 😉 Français : Nespresso (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

They have introduced a new nespresso compatible capsule. It looks the same as the nespresso capsule. There are of course some subtle differences, the capsule is made from an extruded recylable plastic as opposed to the aluminium used by nespresso. The coffee quality is as good as nespresso, but Dualit have only so far brought out five flavours of espresso coffee where as nespresso have in excess of 15 coffees to choose from, nespresso has, for the time being, the upper hand in the numbers game.

The nespresso capsule market is said to have 1 million customers and 750 million coffee capsules or coffee pods are bought in the UK alone on the interent – so Dualit is looking to take some of the market share away from nespresso. Dualit has a strong following in the home kitchen market and B&B market, and will be looking to get people who already own a Dualit product to but the Dualit nespresso compatible capsules. Aromo coffee and Dualpresso are 2 companies that are selling the Dualit nespresso capsules for Dualit, which were launched in June.

If you want to try the nespresso compatible capsules then you can visit either http://www.dualpresso.co.uk/ or http://www.aromocoffee.co.uk and they are offering the dualit capsules at 28 pence per capsules – placing it just slihtly cheaper than the Nespresso capsules from Nestle.

The Duailt capsule also works with ALL Nespresso machines such as the Magimix CITIZ and PIXIE as well as the krupps and delonghi versions – so nespresso users will now have an alternative supplier to nespresso – about time!

Caffe Culture Show 2012

Just got back from the Caffe culture show in Olympia. Slightly disappointing show as there were not many companies that actually sold coffee – more machines and accessories or food. Perhaps this was not thw show I was expecting? I had hoped to see the ESE easy serving espresso on sale in all its forms but alas no. We did however wnjoy meeting Dualit and we saw their NEspresso compatible capsule or nespresso coffee pods as we tend to call it. Nice coffee flavour and nice packaging.

I came across this rather nice illustration on another coffee blog, and thought that I might show everyone here – so here is a rather nice espresso and coffee diagram showing you how coffee is made in a cup:

The next blog article will be Male Singers (including groups)

Brandon Flowers (also lead singer of the Killers), Morten Harket of a-ha, Billy Joel, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Mark Knopfler if Dire Straits fame) Tom Chaplin (lead singer of Keane), Gary Barlow, Freddie Mercury, Bono of U2 and Michael Stipe of REM

Next blog will be the top ten BBC, ITV and Channel 4 News and TV presenters that I would like to share a cup of espresso coffee with. By the way: I make my espresso coffee using a Delonghi (not Wega) espresso coffee machine, and I use 44mm E.S.E. single serving espresso coffee pods to make the espresso coffee.

I was just enjoying a cup of espresso boost coffee from our range of ese espresso coffee pods, yesterday afternoon when my daughter came in from the kitchen with some yummy cakes that had a coconut sprinkled frosting – they were perfect with my espresso coffee that I was drinking.

I love my espresso coffee, this morning I had a lovely double espresso and made it into an Americano – a medium strength coffee that really got me going this morning. I never get tired of the smell of coffee -as soon as the hot water touches the ground espresso you get an immediate smell thats says HELLO! – its a lot like a bakery and cake making – I bet you never get tired of those smells either – my wife makes cakes everyday and I never get tired of the smell of chocolate brownie – So I normally wake to the smells combined – How lucky is that.
