My Milk Frothing Jug

This picture shows my new milk frothing jug I bought in Rome this summer. Previously I had made do with a pottery jug but there has to be a reason why the pros use stainless steel ones and I’m told it is so that you can detect more easily when the milk is hot. So I now place a finger on the outside of the jug when making capacinnos and when it gets too hot to touch I know it is ready. I’m using aromo coffee pods to avoid mess too.
