Espresso as part of a calorie controlled diet!

With Christmas now a long distant memory and New Year resolutions either dead and buried, or on very shaky ground, a simple way to remove calories, if weight loss is your goal, is to cut out fat!

Yes- sounds simple I know..!! But the reality is in todays ‘on the go’ consumption society, that very often calories and carbs are hidden and choices regards size, type, milk and extras can make a big difference to the calorie count

Gourmet coffee being a case in point…… Did you enjoy a medium cappuccino on the way to work this morning? If yes – you just had + 150 calories…. + 250 if you had the same beverage as a latte! Ouch! Add cream and syrup and believe it or not, it is very easy to pack away + 500 calories in a matter of a few gulps…..That’s nearly the same as a couple of Mars bars!

Espresso, Americano, black coffee…simple is often best and often over looked!

Almost no calories (Less than 10 per shot) all those antioxidants, plus no worries about saturated fats… it seems espresso is not only the choice of the connoisseur, the cognoscente and fashionista,  but also those simply wise enough to  enjoy their coffee straight and true without adulteration!

One simple way to save money and to make a significant dent in your daily calorie consumption is to make your favourite espresso at home and take away! Of course we would recommend you use Aromo ESE espresso pods… the choice of which recipe and which roast is yours…
